I wasn’t feeling like making more pizza, so I made this pull apart garlic bread instead, and I am so glad I did! It tastes just like garlic knots, but with way less effort!

Cheesy Pull-Apart Garlic Bread

Cheesy, garlicky, and irresistibly buttery pull-apart garlic bread is the perfect way to transform leftover pizza dough into something new. There are only two of us in our house, so we had a bunch of leftover dough from a pizza recipe i made last week. I wasn’t feeling like making more pizza so I made this pull apart garlic bread instead, and I am so glad I did! It taste just like garlic knots but with way less effort!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 batch of Mini Pizza Dough or 250g pizza dough of your choice
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 3 tbsp fresh parsley minced
  • 6 garlic cloved smashed and minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • (Optional) Pesto for an extra burst of flavor

Instructions
 

  • Roll out your pizza dough into a rough rectangle, approximately 1/4 inch thick.
  • In a small bowl, combine the butter, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread 3/4 of the butter mixture evenly over the dough, saving the rest for later.
  • Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the butter.
  • Gently roll up the dough from one side to create a flavorful log.
  • Slice the log and arrange the pieces in a bread loaf pan lined with parchment paper. Cover and let it proof while your oven preheats.
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  • Uncover and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Top with remaining butter and a bit of pesto if desired.
